Concrete Drop-In

What They Are

Concrete walled drop-ins are often used in bulk fuel businesses, agricultural settings for fertilizer, pesticides and flammable chemicals. In fact in years past concrete use to be the preferred choice for containment systems.

While concrete does adequately contain the materials when it new, the porous concrete develops cracks over time. The liquids stored in the containment systems can further degrade the concrete like nitrogen fertilizer flaking off the concrete surfaces. While the cracks can be sealed with annual caulking, many state regulations ban this practice especially once the cracks get so big.

J.C. Ramsdell Enviro Services, Inc. synthetic liners can improve your existing concrete walled containment system. Our liners will eliminate the contact between the chemicals and the concrete, eliminating the degradation of the concrete. Our liners also meet your state requirements.

At J.C. Ramsdell Enviro Services, Inc., we can either install the liner for you or ship you a liner and installation instructions. Our engineers can also design a new concrete drop-in secondary containment system for you. If you need a concrete loadpad we can design the loadpad for you and in most areas we can do the construction of the loadpad also if you would like.

Applications
