Liners for Lagoons & Wastewater Systems
What They Are
Animal waste lagoons and wastewater systems are used to prevent liquids from leaking into nearby groundwater. Many existing lagoons have been built with no liners and using compacted clay. This construction erodes away, leaving the ground saturated with wastewater. Vegetation then grows into the walls, damaging their integrity and strength.
J.C. Ramsdell Enviro Services, Inc. lines lagoon and wastewater systems with HDPE geomembrane liners. These liners have the strength to handle ice build-up and the ability to be exposed to harsh sunlight. Compared to CCL, GCL and PVC liners, HDPE materials are relatively low cost.
If you have an existing lagoon, J.C. Ramsdell Enviro Services, Inc. can line the sideslopes to eliminate your erosion problem. If you need a new system, we can design and engineer one that will meet your needs
